Vietnam is a More Developed Country for a variety of reasons. One of these is the because of the high population. At a total of around 95,261,021, which is the 15th highest in the world, is a large population only a MDC can support. There is also Vietnam's incredibly low Natural Increase Rate (just around under 1%) which helps solidify Vietnam as an MDC. For some hard evidence of Vietnam's place among MDC's, its moderately low CBR(15.7) and CDR(5.9), (for a stage 3 country), as well as its high life expectancy(73) and literacy rates(90%) should help stable its position among MDC's. Its population Pyramid has also started to weaken at the base with a wider middle and small top, which is a key sign to being a MDC.
